Decomposition of Creation Exhibition" in Fujiyoshida City, Yamanashi, Japan

This exhibition in Fujiyoshida City, Yamanashi Prefecture, is an exhibition of the 2020 coconogacco students and weavers, and will showcase the trial-and-error process of creation by the students and weavers and their works in the midst of the Corona Disaster.
The area of Fujiyoshida in Yamanashi Prefecture has long flourished as a town of weavers, and even today is a rare textile production area in the world where highly skilled and unique weavers gather.
This is a new attempt to connect designers and craftsmen to the future, aiming to understand the thinking of both parties and to bring designers and craftsmen closer than ever before by breaking down the process of designing and craftsmanship.
In addition, a part of the installation “Gassho” by writtenafterwards, which was held at the National Art Center, Tokyo on March 16, will also be exhibited.
