Hirofumi Kurino

Born in 1953. Studied aesthetics in university and entered the fashion retail industry after founding his company. After working at Suzuyo and Beams, he founded United Arrows in 1989. Served as Managing Director of the company until 2008. During this period, he gained experience in sales, purchasing, management, press relations, and as a director, ultimately becoming CCO (Chief Creative Officer). After stepping down from the board in 2008, he became a Senior Advisor. He has served as a judge for the LVMH Prize since 2014 and continues in this role this year. He published “The World After Fashion” in 2020. It has also been published in Taiwan and South Korea.
