Yuji Hamada

Born in Osaka Prefecture in 1979. Based in Tokyo, he works both domestically and internationally. After graduating from Nihon University's College of Art, Department of Photography in 2003, he has been creating performative works that expand the possibilities of photographic expression. His approach involves returning to the fundamentals of photography while incorporating elements of chance and his own memories. His major photobooks include “light there,” “Primal Mountain,” “C/ M /Y,” and “photograph.”
