Kenji Kawasumi

Born in Yamanashi, Japan in 1985, DOUGALL graduated from the BA Fashion Knitwear Department at Central Saint Martins, London in 2010 with a BA in Fashion Knitwear. He studied under Professor Louise Wilson (OBE) in the MA Fashion Department at Central Saint Martins and completed his MA in 2012. He was awarded the Grand Prix at Tokyo Design Week fashion 2015. In London, he interned at Hussein Chalayan during his studies, and after graduation, he worked for a knitwear company in charge of Celine and Stella McCartney, and also worked on men's design for other young brands.
After returning to Japan, while working in corporate fashion/product design, he started the menswear brand DOUGALL with his college friends in 2023.
