Pre-advanced course

about
The Pre-Advanced Course is a course that invites professional guests with a variety of styles that cannot be studied in the Advanced and Material Courses to participate in workshops, tutorials, and presentations, and to work deeply with their own roots in the creation of their artwork and portfolios. Students will create a portfolio of their own work while deeply reflecting on their own roots. This course can also be used as a preparation period for further study, advanced courses, or the Materials & Matter course.
curriculum
In the Pre-Advanced Course, students work individually and at their own pace. The course is based on three terms, the first and second terms, in which students work on their own artwork and create their portfolios. The course will have several sessions with guest lecturers so that students can gain multiple perspectives and apply them to their own work. Tutorials will be given by tutors in the non-guest lecturer sessions to further brush up your own work. Students may take the course for the first semester, second semester, or multiple years, and assignments and procedures will vary depending on the number of years of participation. Workshops with invited guests will be held at certain times.
